Global Learning Opportunities

Hitotsubashi ICS offers its enrolled students the opportunity to participate in a variety of exchange programs, intensive courses, and double-degree programs with partner schools across the globe.
For example, as part of the Japanese government sponsored “Asia Business Leaders Program”, Hitotsubashi ICS has partnered with the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University and the Graduate School of Business, Seoul National University since 2011 to create the “BeST Alliance”.
Hitotsubashi ICS is also one of the founding members of the Global Network of Advanced Management (“GNAM”), which is composed of 27 leading business schools in 25 countries covering five continents.

Double-Degree Program

Hitotsubashi ICS offers double-degree programs with, respectively, the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University and the Graduate School of Business, Seoul National University.
Students enrolled in a double-degree program may obtain MBA degrees in a time-efficient manner (i.e., two years) from both partner schools after fulfilling residence and earned credit requirements at both schools.

Exchange Programs

Since its founding in 2000, ICS has offered students with the opportunity to spend a term (from 3-4 months duration) during the second year at leading business schools around the globe.
Likewise, ICS hosts several exchange students from partner schools each academic year.

Doing Business in Asia is a 15 day intensive program offered by the BeST Alliance partner schools and involves visits to Beijing, Seoul and Tokyo to study comparative business practices.
